Because there is no airport and no road, whatever you find, you find alone — which is the whole argument for the extra nights.

Days 1–3 · Dampier
Wayag, Piaynemo, Cape Kri and Manta Sandy while you are still in the north.

Days 4–6 · south
The overnight run to Boo, Fiabacet and Magic Mountain, and three days on the southern reefs.

Day 7 · back
North again overnight, and alongside at Sorong or Waisai.
Seven nights can reach Misool but leaves little time there. Ten is the length that does it justice.
